The male rider, who is in his 50s, became unseated at around 8.07am on the eastbound carriageway between Cowdenbeath and Lochgelly. It is understood that the rider managed to move his bike off the side of the road before alerting the emergency services on Monday morning. Police and ambulance were sent to the scene and drivers in the area were warned to expect delays. The man was checked over by paramedics as a precaution after complaining about soreness to his hip and leg. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
