Emergency services dealt with an incident in Kirkcaldy on Monday evening.
Police officers stopped traffic from travelling along Millie Street late on Monday evening.
Eye witnesses reported seeing several emergency services vehicles at the scene, including an ambulance.
A spokesman in Police Scotland’s East Area Command said there were no major incidents in the area, but was unable to give further information on Monday night.
Shortly before 10pm, bus operator Stagecoach said one of its services had been diverted due to a police incident.
