The makeover of a Fife shopping centre which was auctioned off with a reserve price of just £1 has begun.
Work crews were seen removing the iconic red signage from the Postings Shopping Centre in Kirkcaldy on Wednesday.
The retail hub is set to benefit from a sizeable revamp after it was bought by its new Yorkshire-based owners Evergold Property in February for £310,000.
The company is also rebranding the site, which will now be named the Kirkcaldy Centre.

The shopping hub first opened its doors in 1981 and cost £4.25m to build.
Despite seeing an average footfall of around 15,000 people a week, several units in the centre remained empty.
Evergold Property are now marketing 14 vacant units for lease and is actively looking for tenants.
