One person has been taken to hospital following a road accident in Lundin Links on Tuesday evening.
The early evening incident involved two vehicles.
The main road through the Fife village was closed as emergency services rushed to the scene.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said police had received a report of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Largo Road in Lundin Links at about 6.25pm.
One person involved has been taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy where they are being treated for their injuries.
The extent of their injuries are unknown.
The spokesman added that inquiries were ongoing into the incident.
