A man has been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash on the main route between Fife and Edinburgh.
The M90 Perth to Edinburgh road was completely blocked southbound at Ferrytoll due to the incident at about 7.40am.
Police and paramedics were called to the incident, which causes major congestion on the dual carriageway.
One man in his 30s was taken to hospital. A police spokeswoman said his injuries were “non-life-threatening”.
A lorry was left on its side following the crash.
Afterwards Police Scotland issued a warning for drivers to be vigilant – even during “slow-moving” traffic on the M90.
The statement read: “Edinburgh RP (road policing) attended a collision involving several vehicles on the M90 near Ferrytoll this morning. Thankfully no injuries.
“The collision occurred at the rear of slow-moving traffic. Please be mindful that traffic ahead may suddenly slow or queue, especially during ‘rush hour’.”
