An exotic bird has been rescued after being attacked by a screech of gulls in a Fife town. The cockatiel was rescued after coming under siege from the animals on Kirkcaldy’s Peebles Street. Now the Scottish SPCA is trying to track down the bird’s owner. The cockatiel was found on June 8 and is in the care of the Scottish SPCA’s rehoming centre in Petterden, Angus. Do you recognise this cockatiel? He was found on 8 June being attacked by seagulls on Peebles Street in Kirkcaldy. He has some injuries and is currently in the care of our centre in Angus, Fife and Tayside.
