The main artery between Edinburgh and Perth had to be closed for a short while on Sunday while police dealt with the incident. A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed they had been alerted at 1.20pm. The injured man has been taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. It has since reopened, but traffic is still slow in the area.
