Five people including a baby and two children were taken to hospital from a road accident near High Valleyfield.
The children and a woman were in a car which collided with a van on the A985 on Monday morning.
All four in the car and a man driving the van were taken to Forth Valley Hospital but none were believed to be seriously hurt.
Police were alerted to the crash at around 11.40am.
They closed the road between Cairneyhill and the Culross roundabout for around an hour and a half while emergency services aided the casualties and vehicles were recovered.
A police spokeswoman confirmed the road had reopened at 1.10pm.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call at 1136 hours today to attend an incident on the A985 between Cairneyhill and Longannet.
“We dispatched a manager, a paramedic practitioner and two ambulances to the scene.
“We transported three child patients and two adults to Forth Valley Royal Hospital.”
