Driver hospitalised after car overturns on Fife road

A woman in Fife has been taken to hospital after the car in which she was driving overturned.

The incident happened on the B9157 close to Kirkcaldy at around 7.30pm this evening.

Police and ambulance attended the scene and the road was cordoned off for a short time.

The driver was attended to at the scene and later taken to Victoria Hospital where her condition is not thought to be serious.

The road has now been reopened.
