Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision near the Guardbridge Hotel on the A91 Old St Andrews Road at 4.59pm. No-one was injured and two of the vehicles were able to be driven off the roadway, although one was obstructing the road for a time. A recovery vehicle was contacted, but motorists reported large queues in and around the surrounding area well into the evening. Roadworks at Guardbridge exacerbated the traffic congestion locally.
