A sporting tribute has been paid to Kelty boxer Connor Law following his death last month.
Friends and family gathered on Saturday for a football match between Kelty Amateurs and an XI led by Connor’s dad. A bench was also unveiled in his memory.
At the bench unveiled in his honour are Liam Butler (family friend) and Craig Johnston (one of Connor Law’s best friends), at Blairadam Park, Kelty for the memorial football match.

The super-middleweight had a record of 13 unbeaten contests and was considered one of boxing’s brightest rising stars.
Law’s death prompted an outpouring of tributes from across Fife and the boxing community.
His manager and Glenrothes Boxing Club head coach Stevie McGuire said: “We are devastated by the death of Connor Law. Connor was a special kid and a special boxer.
“He was part of Glenrothes Boxing Club since he was 15 years old. He achieved great highs as an amateur and we hoped for the same in his pro career.
“He was still unbeaten as a pro. When he turned professional with Tommy Gilmour I told Tommy this was his next world champion.

“As his trainer from a young boy learning his trade to his manager as a professional we had a close relationship and he was part of my family. We are heartbroken.”
