The accident, involving two vehicles, happened on the southbound carriageway of the A90 near Rosyth, on the approach to the bridge at about 3.30pm. As the vehicles moved to the hard shoulder both lanes remained opened. But traffic was moving slowly, causing delays. Queensferry Crossing Traffic at 16:10 ⌚️#M90 southbound is now queuing 5 miles from J2A due to the earlier RTC. Police had to do a rolling road block for the vehicles to be towed off the hard shoulder.#BeAware@TheForthBridges @BBCTravelScot pic.twitter.com/JftDAtTa3b — Traffic Scotland (@trafficscotland) July 26, 2019 Police had to carry out a rolling roadblock to enable the two vehicles involved to be towed off the hard shoulder. The cars have now been removed, but there are long delays and five miles of tailbacks from junction 2A.
