Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves broke into a Fife shop stealing a significant amount of antique jewellery.
Thieves targeted Malcolm Antiques and Collectables/Midas Jewellery based at Old St Andrews Antique Centre,The Stables, Old St Andrews Road, Guardbridge last weekend.
A spokesperson confirmed that CID officers are investigating the incident after a break-in and theft to a premises in Guardbridge.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “The incident took place overnight between the Saturday 27 July into Sunday the of July 28.”
Officers are appealing for any members of the public who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously during that time to come forward.
The spokesman added: “Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 1841 of July 28.”
