Three car accident in Cowdenbeath

Nine people were caught up in a three-car accident in Cowdenbeath on Saturday evening.

The collision happened on Cuddyhouse Road, near its junction with Old Perth Road, at around 7.30pm.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service carried out first aid on several of the the walking wounded.

The Scottish Ambulance Service triaged the casualties, although no one was badly hurt.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “It was a road accident involving three cars.

“The minor injuries were dealt with at the side of the road.”
