The road through a west Fife village has been closed due to flooding.
The B9037 is shut at High Valleyfield after a day of intense downpours which left the road impassable.
A number of other streets in the village are said to have been affected by flood water but have not been closed.
Low Valleyfield is also affected, along with the A985 between the Cairneyhill roundabout and the Kincardine Bridge, where both lanes are covered by surface water but are passable with care.
Locals said drains were struggling to cope with the sheer volume of water.
Further heavy rain is expected overnight and into Wednesday.
