Emergency services have attended after a car overturned on the A915 Standing Stane Road between Kirkcaldy and Leven.
The incident, which is understood to have involved a silver Ford Fiesta, took place at around 3.30pm near to the junction at Wellsgreen.
Two ambulances and two police cars rushed to the scene of the accident, and a spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said a crew was also requested to attend by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The female driver of the vehicle was said to be a little shaken but unhurt, and was checked over by paramedics at the scene as a precaution.
Traffic was beginning to build up in the area in both directions as a result of the crash, but vehicles were able to get past – albeit slowly.
