A visit to Fife by former snooker star Jimmy White has been cancelled. ‘The Whirlwind’ was due to appear in conversation at the Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy on September 1, but the tour has been shelved. The night was due to feature Mr White in conversation with BBC radio and journalist Alex Belfield and feature footage from some of his classic games. There was also to be an opportunity to ask him questions direct in the second half of the show.
