A man has appeared in court on charges including assault following an incident involving a security firm at Dunfermline Police Station earlier this week.
Arran Swift, 33, is accused of carrying out an assault to severe injury and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
The allegation is in relation to a police or prison officer.
He also faces charges of threatening and abusive behaviour and abusive behaviour towards a partner or ex-partner.
Swift made no plea or declaration when he appeared in private on petition in Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
He was remanded in custody.
His case was continued for further examination and he will make a further court appearance within eight days.
A police helicopter was involved in a major search on Monday amid reports a man had escaped from the control of security firm GeoAmey.
Swift was arrested at a property in Kirkcaldy on Tuesday.
