Police are seeking a man who has breached the terms of his licence after being released from a Tayside prison earlier this year.
Officers say they have carried out “extensive inquiries” in a bid to trace Joseph Gilogley.
He has breached the conditions of his release on licence from HMP Castle Huntly in January 25.
He was last seen during a police operation in Kilbarchan in July 2019.
In July 2015 Gilogley was jailed for attacking a man at a car wash in Kincardine, Fife.
Police believe he is in the Glasgow area.
Gilogley is described as 6 ft 2in, slim but muscular, and with short, black hair.
A Police Scotland statement reads: “Officers from Renfrew Police Station are appealing for anyone who may have seen Joseph or has any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts to contact them via 101.
“Anyone wishing to provide information anonymously can do so through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
