Spider-Man star Tom Holland will swing into action when he makes his first appearance in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
The Hollywood actor is the latest well-known name announced by competition organisers, joining the likes of Justin Timberlake, Ronan Keating and Huey Lewis on golf courses in Fife and Angus later this month.
The British actor, who gained worldwide recognition after starring in five hugely-successful films as Spider-Man, will try a different role when he plays at the Old Course in St Andrews, Kingsbarns and Carnoustie.
He and fellow celebrity amateurs will team up with some of the world’s top professional players for the team championship from September 26 to 29.
American actor Greg Kinnear, Olympian Sr Steve Redgrave, cricketers Kevin Pietersen and Shane Warne and TV presenter Piers Morgan are also among the well-known names taking part alongside some of golfing’s top ten.
Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Jo Rahm will be supported by Open champion Shane Lowry, Tommy Fleetwood, runner-up at Portrush, and US Ryder Cup player Tony Finau.
Other major champions in the line-up are Ernie Els, Padraig Harrington and Martin Kaymer.
Admission is free for all spectators over the first three days, with final day tickets on September 29 available to buy at the entrance gates for £20.
