His Suzuki bike was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Corsa in Hendry Road at 8.55am on Friday. He is thought to have escaped serious injury but was to be taken to hospital. Police, paramedics and firefighters rushed to the scene. A fuel spillage was also dealt with. A police spokesman said: “The male motorcyclist doesn’t seem to be seriously injured but is going to go to hospital as a precaution. “There is some fuel on the road that needs to be cleared.”
