Extinction Rebellion brought its climate change protest to the streets of St Andrews. Supporters of the action in London staged a 15-minute die-in and silent protest in Church Square. More than 50 students and townspeople took part in the demonstration on Saturday at noon. Spokeswoman Lea Weimann said: “This is an emergency and we need everyone to start treating and responding to it that way too.”
