Motorists will face delays overnight on the A92 in north-east Fife from tonight.
Traffic lights will be operation as a £260,000 scheme of carriageway resurfacing is carried out between the Ayton junction and Parbroath crossroads.
A 10mph convoy system will be in operation between 7.30pm and 6.30am over seven nights until October 23.
Works will be suspended on Friday and Saturday night.
For the final two nights as work is carried out across the A92/A913 Parbroath crossroads a traffic lights system will guide motorists through the operations.
