A man’s body has been discovered at a property in Dunfermline, police have confirmed.
Detectives are understood to be doing door-to-door questioning in Golfdrum Street after the grim discovery was made at a block of flats in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to the scene following a report of concern for a person at around 6am.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Officers were called to an address on Golfdrum Street in Dunfermline at around 6am on Tuesday, October 15.
“The body of a man was discovered and police are treating the death as unexplained.
“Inquiries are ongoing and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
The Courier understands that formal identification of the man has yet to take place.
