Friends of a missing Angus man are appealing for help in tracking him down.
Police have been made aware after Bailey Mearns, also known as Bailey Menmuir, was reported missing from Arbroath.
He has not been seen since being spotted on Stratharlie Avenue at 7am on Monday, January 6.
Bailey is described as 5ft 11in, slim, with black hair and a beard.
Friends have taken to social media to urge others to keep their eyes peeled for Bailey.
Posting to Arbroath Online, friend Liam Bell wrote: “Can you please be on the look out for Bailey Menmuir. Police are aware but can never have enough eyes on the look out.
“Any information regarding bailey can you please get in touch with me or contact the police.”
Arbroath FC has also joined the appeal.
A police spokesman said: “Officers are carrying out inquiries to trace missing Bailey Mearns, also known as Menmuir, who was reported missing from the Arbroath area yesterday (Monday, January 6).
“He was last seen in the Strathairlie Avenue area around 7am yesterday. He is described as being 5ft 11 with slim build, short black hair and a beard.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police on 101, quoting incident 3771 of January 6.”
