Arbroath cultural hub Hospitalfield has added a free drawing school to the range of activities residents can take advantage of during the pandemic lockdown.
The school runs online on Mondays between 10am and noon, guided live with an artist and with a new challenge each week for people of all abilities to got involved.
Led by illustrator-in-residence Laura Darling, from Dundee, it is already online and attracting more activity than ever before.
The free drawing school challenges are designed to be done at home with resources people can bring together from their drawers and cupboards.
On April 20 Mick Peter will lead the school, with Sally Hackett setting the challenge on April 27. Sally is working with Hospitalfield and Muirfield and Timmergreens primary schools in 2021 on the annual children’s graduation procession.
France-Lise McGurn will lead the May 4 challenge, having created the whole room painting Extensa Suite in the study room at Hospitalfield in summer 2018.
