A multi-agency search continued on Sunday following reports that an 18-year-old male had fallen from Arbroath cliffs on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at around 1pm and a search involving police, Coastguard helicopter and rescue teams and lifeboat got under way.

It made its way back around 4.30pm while the lifeboat remained just off the cliffs searching for the man.
The search was stood down at 6.20pm due to failing light although search teams combed the cliffs well into the night using torches.
Emergency crews returned to the scene on Sunday.
Chief Inspector David McIntosh said: “Immediate coastline searches at Arbroath Cliffs have been carried out this morning involving coastguard and lifeboat teams. Moving forward today, the search parameters will be widened as we extend our operation further up and down the coastline.
“We remain in close contact with his family at this very difficult time.
“Anyone with information should contact Police on 101.”
