Police have named the woman who died in a tragic accident in Arbroath on Monday.
Local woman Anna Thorese Mizera, who was 71, died after she was in an accident involving her mobility scooter and a car in Springfield Terrace.
Police said inquiries into the full set of circumstances of the incident continue.
As with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
