Rescuers have been called out to search the area around Arbroath Cliffs following an overnight van blaze.

The sea search is said to be a precautionary measure following a van fire which took place at 1.35am at Arbroath’s Victoria Park.
A fire and rescue appliance from the town was called to the scene.
Police are investigating the blaze.
A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland attended in the area of Arbroath Cliffs about 1.40am this morning in response to reports of a vehicle on fire.
