Potentially “dangerous” medication has been stolen from a house in Arbroath.
Quantities of cash, cigarettes and a variety of prescription medication were stolen from the flat in Emislaw Drive at around 5.20pm on Sunday evening.
A police spokesman said: “A flat within a small block was broken into by forcing the door.
“The medication could be dangerous if taken by someone for whom they are not prescribed.”
This is the second incident in the area in the last 24 hours involving the theft of medication.
Thieves stole medication from a white Ford Fiesta parked in a Dundee street between 6pm on Sunday and 7.30am on Monday morning.
It comes following the theft of medication from a parked car in Dundee.
