Brian Travers, 43, was reported missing from the open prison by Longforgan at 10am on Friday. Police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing Travers but say he should not be approached. It is believed that Travers has connections in the Fife and Edinburgh areas. He is described as being six feet tall, slim build, clean shaven and completely bald. If seen members of the public should contact Police Scotland on 101. Anyone wishing to provide information anonymously can do so through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
