Dundee FC chief John Nelms has said plans for a new stadium will not go ahead unless surrounding developments are also approved.
Speaking at a packed public consultation event on the proposed new stadium development on land adjacent to Camperdown Park, Mr Nelms, Dundee’s director of football operations, said the additional revenue streams generated by the crematorium, hotel and other projects would be crucial.
Mr Nelms said: “Everything has to be in place for it to happen, to be honest.
“For it to be viable it will have to have all the bits and pieces.”

Mr Nelms also said the new stadium could be used for concerts and other events when not being used by the football team.
Dozens of fans packed into the public consultation on the proposed stadium when it opened at Dundee Ice Arena on Friday afternoon.
Response from supporters was largely positive.
Architects stressed the need to ensure the stadium has a good atmosphere and have carried out studies to orientate the stadium in such a way that it minimises the glare of the sun in the eyes of goalkeepers.
Access to the development is likely to be from a sliproad from the Kingsway.
However, some people raised concerns about the plans to create training pitches on land in Camperdown Park owned by Dundee City Council.
