The joy of cycling is being celebrated in a spectacular new documentary made by Dundee filmmakers.
Roadworthy – Life On Two Wheels features the varied stories of the members of the Dundee Wheelers Cycling Club, from those pushing themselves to become fitter and faster to those who take part mainly for the social benefits of cycling in a group.
Filmed over the course of six months, the film shows members on a series of rides across Tayside building up to an epic cycle to the north-west Highlands.
As well as expressing the pleasure of time spent on two wheels, the film — a new trailer of which has just been released — also shows the dramatic advances in video technology that have taken place in recent years.
Using a range of filming techniques, including drone, gimbal and onboard vehicle shots, it shows how effects previously restricted to big-budget film projects are now available to much smaller operators.
Roadworthy, which was filmed and produced by local firms Rising View and 81 Films, will be released in full next year.
