Staff at the crossing between Dundee and Fife said an “incident” had caused the route to shut. Police confirmed officers were called following concerns for a person on the bridge. A police spokesman said: “There was concern for a person on the bridge. They have now been reached and taken off the bridge. The bridge has reopened.” Traffic was said to be moving at 1.35pm, with all restrictions removed 10 minutes later. It comes after police were called to a separate incident at Camperdown Dock.
