A 17-year-old male has been charged with a number of road traffic offences following a crash in which a man died in Dundee on Monday.
The teenager, who was released from custody, will appear in court at a later date.
Scott Millar, 33, died after being struck by a car on Argyllgait, between the Westport Roundabout and North Lindsay Street at around 4.30am on Monday. His employer, Royal Mail, has paid tribute to the young dad.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland can confirm that the
17-year-old man arrested after a road traffic collision in Argyllgait, Dundee, on May 7 has been charged with a number of road traffic offences, and has been released from custody to be reported to the procurator fiscal.
