One person was injured and a busy road in Fife blocked following a crash involving a bus and a second vehicle on Thursday afternoon.
Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene on the A91 Guardbridge Road close to St Andrews after reports of a collision between the two vehicles.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “We received a call at 3.30pm reporting an incident involving a bus and a jeep vehicle on the A91 Guardbridge Road between St Andrews and Guardbridge.
“Paramedics are also at the scene and the road is currently blocked.”
The casualty sustained only minor injuries but the incident is under investigation by Stagecoach, operator of the service involved.
A spokeswoman for Stagecoach East Scotland said: “At 3.30pm today one of our buses was involved in a road traffic incident.
“We can confirm there were no major injuries and an internal investigation is now underway to determine the cause of the accident.”
The firm also said that all its services to and from St Andrews were delayed due to the incident which blocked the road until 5pm.
