Fire crews are battling a major blaze in a Fife village. Emergency services were scrambled to Mid Row Croftouterly in Leslie just after 4.30pm on Wednesday. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said a commercial premises was on fire. One person was rescued from the building and taken by ambulance to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, suffering from smoke inhalation. Four crews are using a hose reel jet, two main jets and breathing apparatus, as well as a foam unit and height appliance, to tackle the blaze.
