Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision between a motorcycle and a car in Fife.
The A909 Kelty to Cowdenbeath road was closed for several hours following a collision involving the blue Ford Mondeo and a black motorcycle at about 11.55am.
Emergency services attended and the driver and passenger of the bike, a 66-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman, were taken to Victoria Hospital.
The road was closed until 5.45pm to allow officers to carry out an investigation.
Police are now appealing for witnesses.
Road policing sergeant Stephen Quinn said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash. I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash but has not yet spoken to police to come forward.
“I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have a dash-cam and saw either of the vehicles prior to the crash. Please check back and see if there is any footage which could help with our enquiries.”
