Fife Sports and Leisure Trust has confirmed that some of its facilities will be back open from 9.30am on Sunday.
Staff have been in at swimming pools and gyms across the region helping to clear snow and make leisure centres accessible for customers.
Amended opening hours will be in operation on Sunday, and the Trust has warned customers that some car parks will have limited access.
There is also the potential that services may be limited due to staffing levels.
Carnegie Leisure Centre, Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre, Dalgety Bay Sports and Leisure Centre, Duloch Leisure Centre, St Andrews East Sands Leisure Centre, Kirkcaldy Leisure Centre, Levenmouth Swimming Pool and Sports Centre, Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre in Glenrothes will all be open on Sunday from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
The same is true at Cupar Sports Centre, although only dryside facilities will be available, while Bowhill Swimming Pool will open from 9.30am to 1pm.
Normal opening hours will resume for all of the above on Monday.
Staff at the Beacon Leisure Centre in Burntisland are continuing the clean-up operation and plan to reopen on Sunday, but people should contact reception to check opening hours. The aim is to operate normal opening hours from Monday.
However, Lumphinnans Sports Hub, Pitreavie Athletics Centre and Waterstone Crook Sports Centre will all remain closed on Sunday, and members of the public should await further updates on Monday.
