Doctor Who and Broadchurch star David Tennant was greeted by fans in Kirkcaldy as he arrived for a film screening.
As part of the town’s Adam Smith Festival of Ideas, Tennant introduced his latest film You, Me and Him, along with director Daisy Aitkens and producer Georgia Tennant, the star’s wife.
Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown also turned up to the screening.
Despite being mobbed by fans as he walked down the red carpet on Saturday afternoon, Tennant looked relaxed and was keen to sign autographs and pose for selfies.
Later on Saturday, he was due to take to the stage for An Audience with David Tennant and Arabella Weir.
This year’s Adam Smith Festival of Ideas previously hosted television star Sandi Toksvig, who delivered the Adam Smith Lecture on Friday.
The Great British Bake Off and QI presenter also visited the Cottage Family Centre in Kirkcaldy to learn about how the project is helping families living in poverty.
