Fire crews are tackling a “major” blaze that has broken out at a derelict building in a Fife park.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) has confirmed they have an operational command unit at Silverburn Park, Lundin Links in Leven, along with 11 fire units.
SFRS stressed that firefighters will remain at the scene until it is deemed safe.
A spokesperson for SFRS said the fire broke out around 6.03am.
“We are dealing with a large fire in Silverburn Park in Leven,” she said.
“The fire broke out at a derelict building in the park. Fire crews will remain on site until the area is deemed safe. This is a major fire.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said officers are at the scene assisting with traffic management.
