A pedestrian seriously injured in a Kirkcaldy road accident remains in a critical condition in hospital.
The 56-year-old was rushed to Victoria Hospital by ambulance after the incident in Hayfield Road in the early hours of Sunday.
He sustained a serious head injury after being involved in a collision with a silver Audi A4.
It happened at around 12.50am on Sunday.
Police Scotland have appealed for drivers who were in the area at the time to check dash cam footage in case they picked up the incident.
The force renewed its appeal for witnesses.
Sergeant Ewan Pearce of Glenrothes Road Policing Unit said: “I’m appealing for anyone who may have seen what happened either from driving or walking through the area.”
