Perth Christmas lights will be switched on by 2000’s pop sensations Atomic Kitten.
The band’s Natasha Hamilton and Liz McClarnon will take to the Fair City stage on November 16 as the countdown to Christmas begins.
Joining Atomic Kitten is Alice DJ, Dario G and Scottish singer songwriter Nina Nesbitt.
Catchphrase host Stephen Mulhern will be keeping things moving on the main stage and keeping the crowds in the party spirit.
TV star Basil Brush will also appear on the main stage on Tay Street alongside Provost Dennis Melloy for the 6.15pm switch-on.
The Christmas parade will set off from Thimblerow at 5.30pm making its way to South Street/Speygate and then on to the main stage for the official switch-on followed by a fireworks display.
Councillor Murray Lyle, Leader of Perth & Kinross Council, said: “It’s another fantastic line up for the area’s biggest event of the year.
“We pride ourselves on offering a fun family event and I know there will be favourites for everyone amongst the big names announced today.”
