A Perth and Kinross Council by-election scheduled to take place this spring has been pushed back, the local authority have confirmed.
The by-election was forced when Perth City North councillor Dave Doogan relinquished his duties as councillor when he was elected as MP for Angus.
The SNP parliamentarian was elected in December and formally stepped down this year.
A by-election had been scheduled to replace Mr Doogan, whose ward covered parts of Letham, Tulloch, Fairfield the Western Edge, Inveralmond and Double Dykes.
But this vote, which was set for May 14, has been postponed to a later date.
Council officers say they will confirm when the by-election will take place when they can.
A Perth and Kinross Council spokesperson said: “The by-election in Ward 11 that was scheduled for 14 May 2020 is postponed. A new date will be set in due course.”
