A motorist is facing a court apperance after driving at almost twice the speed limit through a Perth and Kinross village.
The driver was clocked at 78mph in a 48mph section of road through Drum, near Kinross.
Police had received complaints of speeding vehicles on the A977.
The driver will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

This section of road has a 40MPH speed limit but one driver was seen travelling at 78MPH!!
