A body has been found in the search for missing Glenrothes man Steven Squire, police Scotland has confirmed.
The 33-year-old had been missing from his home since Sunday and was last seen in teh Broxden area of Perth on Wednesday around 6.30pm.
A police search party had been patrolling the outskirts of Perth earlier today when the discovery was made.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We can confirm that the body of a man has been found in the outskirts of Perth.
“The body has not yet been formally identified.
“However, the family of Steven Squire, 33, who had been reported missing from the Glenrothes area on Tuesday, 1 September has been made aware.”
