The two people found dead at T in the Park are a 17 year-old boy and a 17 year-old girl.
Police Scotland detectives are investigating both the deaths, which are being described as unconnected.
Officers are not formally expected to identify the pair until Monday, but they have been named locally as Peter McCallum from Lochgilphead, Argyll, and Megan Bell from the north of England.
Investigations are on-going but police say the deaths are not believed to be suspicious.
Next of kin have been informed and reports will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
The Police Scotland Gold commander for the event, Chief Superintendent Angela McLaren said: “Our thoughts and condolences are with the families of the two young people involved.
“We are continuing to investigate these deaths and are following lines of inquiry, including the possibility that they may be drug related. I would remind all persons attending the festival that there is no safe way of taking drugs.
“Anyone who has any concerns for themselves or others at the festival should contact festival staff, police officers or medics for assistance.”
News of the deaths caused shock as tens of thousands of revellers descended on the Strathallan site.
The police set up a drug amnesty in the wake of the deaths, saying anyone handing in drugs could do so without fear of prosecution or exclusion from the festival site.
Politicians have called for a thorough and speedy investigation into the tragedies.
Meanwhile, the festival organisers have urged revellers to “steer clear” of illicit substances.
