Stand-up comedian Bruce Fummey’s celebrity status failed to translate into votes in Perth and Kinross Council’s Strathallan ward.
The award-winning Edinburgh Festival star amassed just 169 votes for the Green Party — and did not show up at Friday morning’s count.
Conservative Murray Lyle and the SNP’s Tom Gray were re-elected, along with Tory newcomer Crawford Reid.
