Members of a prestigious pipe band were in celebratory mood when they performed at a Perth supermarket on Saturday.
The Vale of Atholl Pipe Band went wild in the aisles as they entertained shoppers at Tesco Extra, on Crieff Road.
Dressed in Christmas hats, members paraded from the back of the store for a performance at the front door.
A video of the unusual procession, shared on Facebook by Tesco Extra Perth in the Community, has been viewed hundreds of times.
It came just hours after member Gillie McNab was awarded a British Empire Medal in the New Year’s Honours.
A spokesman for the group said: “On behalf of the entire Vale organisation, and many others no doubt, a huge congratulations to Gillie on her New Year’s Honour.
“Gillie’s commitment to the community, development of young musicians and the Vale itself over so many years has been nothing less then outstanding. Best wishes to you Gillie.”
