Police are investigating after a Perthshire supermarket was “rammed” during the night.
The Scotmid in Coupar Angus was targeted at around 3am on Thursday when a Grand Cherokee jeep reversed into the shopfront, causing significant damage.
Investigating officers are keen to trace three men who were inside the vehicle.
A police spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland is appealing for information after an attempted break-in at Scotmid, George Street, Coupar Angus in the early hours of the morning of Thursday, February 21.
“Around 2.50am, a vehicle attempted to back into the front doors of the shop. The vehicle is described as being a dark coloured older style Jeep Grand Cherokee. Three men were within.
“Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101 or speak to any police officers.
“Alternatively if you have any information about the incident you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via crimestoppers-uk.org.”
